I've been using FireFox 1.8 as an alternative to IE and although i really like it , i am having a problem with it. My clan has a website and there is a program installed that allows members to see who is on the public and private servers as well as a members list section and also to see who is on TeamSpeak. Well Mozilla can see who is on TeamSpeak and nothing else. It just loads blank pages. IE has np with this at all. In Firefox i have some plugins installed ie macromedia, shockwave, etc . I'm wondering if any one has an idea as to what plug-in would work.

thanks

Hi Grinler. Thanks for answering. The site is at: http://www.tripledeuces.net/ Not sure if you would be able to do much without my login and password. My email is keile-AT-ns.sympatico.ca. You can email me and i'll send them to you.

It looks like an issue as to how mozilla and IE use iframes, which is where the scripts are being launched into. Speak to your webmaster and have them look into making sure the html is validated properly.

You can refer him/her to this post at another site:

If you want to see these pages you can go to these links:

Once they fix the iframe issue on their website you should be ok.

Have you tried using the Agent Switcher to view your pages? Agent Switcher is a plug in extension that spoofs sites into thinking IE is in use.

Off Topic a bit but heart it is not a good idea to post your email address publicly. That is how those spam scanners get it. Some people try leaving spaces and typing out the words for "@" and "." But it would seem that a spam scanner should be able to figure those out. Most boards including this one have Private Message sections. You can have another memeber contact you there and then give them your email address.

Actually, heart, you can be reached by email thru your user profile. This is a privacy measure of most IPB type boards. Your email address is not made public so a spammer can't just lift it straight off the page. A spammer might still be able to obtain your address but it takes some extra effort that most don't have time for.

Also, you have to answer any initial email received thru the board for anyone to obtain your address. So if you do get an email from someone you don't want to have your address, don't answer it

Edit: Sorry Grinler, you beat me to the punch. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif
