I take a computer science course in school and I've been looking far and wide for an application to compile and run Java on a Mac. I'm looking for something along the line's of Panic's Coda (http://www.panic.com/coda/) application.
Basically, I'm looking for an all in one, simple interface with possibilities of code hints while typing and such. Hopefully, that's not too much to ask for. If otherwise, how do you all compile and run Java applications on a Mac?

Eclipse (http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-developers/indigosr1) will work. Although it’s really not pretty, and has a lot of extra stuff that you wont need.

Yeah I would say Eclipse or Netbeans are the ones I use

Thank you both, I’ll definitely try those out.
