Can anyone tell me why Chrome's CPU usage on Windows 7 goes up to 25 on my PC, such as so? It makes the whole system lag but when I end the process the problem goes away! It's only when I boot up!

Do you have a lot of extensions or open tabs?

I use AdBlock, Zenmate and Pocket but I don’t use a lot of tabs.

Chrome treats each tab as itís own process; thatís why individual tabs can crash, but itís rare when the entire browser crashes at once.
In response to your question, itís probably because chrome is set to auto-start on bootup. Thatís why the memory usage goes up right away.
The longer my laptop is on (over a really long time period), the slower chrome runs, not by much, but it does get noticeable. Itís only when I completely end the task in Windows Task Manager and restart the program does it seem like normal again.
