Instagram alternative and cool camera apps on Android

Instagram is an app on iOS that really enhances the camera software with pretty slick filters and effects. It makes a regular picture look cool pretty much :P superficial I know, but pretty cool.
I found an app on android called Lightbox which seems similar enough. Do you guys have other suggestions? Or maybe just another cool camera app?

Great topic. I’m a huge photo app nerd and I’ve tried several for Android (Evo 4G user). I’m not really interested in the social sharing aspect of photos apps, like Instagram as much as the photo effects. That being said, lately I’ve been using Snaptastic a lot. It has great filters with some basic editing features (crop, resize, etc) as well as some border options. Another one I like for the filters is MyTubo. Again, great set of filters.

If your aim is to apply effects to photos then go for Pixl-o-rama (https://market.android.com/details?id=pixlr.OMatic) Using this app you can not apply apply normal filters but also add lighting effects and try out different frames. This is my favourite till now. They also have a web version (http://pixlr.com/o-matic/) in case you want to try it out
If you are also want a community aspect then try out Picplz (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.picplz.rangefinder&hl=en), it’s pretty close to Instagram.
